First scan at 6 weeks 1 day.

So, after sadly miscarrying back in July my Husband and I decided to opt for private scanning from 6 weeks so we could follow our baby's growth and development.

It was a very exciting time although we were both dreading what we would see and were so nervous about seeing some sad news..

When the sonographer asked if we would like to see our baby we were both shocked yet over the moon to see a lively little wriggly blob with a small beating heart. It was beating super fast and we had never felt happier than knowing this little one could possibly be a fighter.. and you can probably make out the sac and baby blob in the centre of the photo.

The images were very tiny and not a lot to see as it was super early days but none the less this time our little one had a healthy beating heart :)

Time to keep everything crossed and wait the long await until week 12...

Bonfire and Firework Night.

In the past we have never really done much to celebrate Bonfire Night so this year we decided to go and join in the celebration at the village Bonfire night and firework display.

It was a great night out although the wind picked up and turned it into what looked more like a forest fire and was extremely close to the overhead cables..

Children were given free sparklers while Adults indulged in Mulled wine and cider.

The girls loved writing their names with the sparklers..

The firework display was amazing too and the amount of fireworks they had kept everyone busy watching.

We shall definitely be back again next year..
